I work with entrepreneurial and professional dads who want a long-term approach to health that improves mobility, energy, and resilience without adding complexity to an already full life.

I'm here to help you build solid foundations;

  • Better Breathing

  • Better posture

  • Better movement

  • Better Lifestyle

I’m also a singer/songwriter creating original music and providing entertainment for public and private events

About me

Hi, I'm Tom Dorman.I've spent the last 17 years helping people improve their health, movement, and quality of life.I started my career as a Personal Trainer in 2009 and was fortunate to work alongside a team of physiotherapists who shared a passion for understanding the root causes of pain and injury. Their influence sparked a lifelong fascination with the interconnected nature of the human body and what it takes to create lasting health.That curiosity eventually led me into business. In 2012, I co-founded Tom & Luke with my buddy Luke after becoming frustrated with the snack food options available. Building and growing that business taught me valuable lessons about health, performance, leadership, and the pressures that come with ambition.These days, my work is focused on helping dads improve their health, mobility, and energy so they can continue showing up for their families, businesses, and communities, no matter what life throws at them.Through my one-on-one coaching and the Better Dads Club community, I help men build sustainable health practices that support long-term wellbeing, performance, and quality of life.Alongside my coaching, I'm also a singer/songwriter. Music keeps me grounded and has been my outlet for creativity, expression, and connection for as long as I can remember.I perform regularly at public and private events and continue to write and perform my own original music. While health coaching is my profession, music feeds my soul, and I can't imagine a life without it.Music remains an important part of who I am and how I move through and make sense of the world. My hope is to spend more of my life creating, performing, and sharing music while continuing to help people live healthier, more fulfilling lives.As a father, I understand both the rewards and challenges of raising children while navigating work, health, relationships, and life's inevitable ups and downs.I believe better health improves our capacity to be better dads, build our legacy, and be better role models. That's the work I'm committed to, both personally and professionally.

Functional Core Assessment

Discover whether poor core function could be contributing to your aches, pains, stiffness, posture, mobility or performance issues.A lot of people assume their sore back, tight hips, stiff shoulders, or recurring injuries are caused by getting older.Often they're not.Many movement, mobility and joint issues stem from poor core function.When the deep stabilising muscles of the core aren't working effectively, the body compensates elsewhere, which can lead to pain, tension, stiffness, reduced mobility, and inefficient movement patterns.

What You'll Learn

  • How well your deep core muscles are functioning

  • Whether poor core function may be contributing to your symptoms

  • How your breathing, posture, and movement patterns affect stability

  • Practical steps you can take to improve core strength and function

This is for you if you;

  • Experience recurring back, hip, knee, neck, or shoulder pain

  • Feel unstable during exercise

  • Want to improve posture and movement quality

  • Have returned to exercise after time away

  • Are a dad wanting to stay active and healthy for the long term

  • Simply want to understand your body better

Writing from the heart, his songs explore how we make sense of life; its beauty, contradictions, pain, joy, passion, and the quiet moments in between. Tom uses music as a way to process his inner world and distil meaning from everyday experience.His songwriting is raw and intentional, shaped by years of personal growth, fatherhood, relationships, and a deep curiosity about what it means to live well.
